Inspired by and made from nature, learn how to make a beautiful botanically dyed scarf. We'll use fresh flowers and leaves that you pick as you wander on the farm, transforming a blank silk scarf into a piece of unique wearable art. Grace Wittig, textile artist of Silk and Sumac, will take us step-by-step through the process. Flowers, silk scarf (14 by 72 inches) and light refreshment are all included.
While the dyes are setting you'll have time to pick flowers and make your own posy to take home. This small class is appropriate for all skill levels.
