Create an original dried flower embroidery with flowers grown and preserved by Country Cut Flowers with embroidery artist, Michelle Agnew. There will be light snacks provided, as well as a chance to get out in the gardens to pick a posey of flowers. Open to all skill levels.

Michelle Agnew is a professional embroidery artist trained at the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace London.

Michelle was privileged to train under the artists who worked on the coronation screen and throne for His Majesty, King Charles III and the Robe of Estate for Her Majesty, Queen Camila as well as the wedding dress of the Princess of Wales back in 2011.

Currently Michelle works in fashion & costumes, creates commissioned art, and teaches workshops to share her embroidery knowledge and experience, and offer accessible training this side of the pond. You can read more about Michelle at  www.michelleagnew.ca 

Materials provided: embroidery hoop, tulle, needles, thread, wax block, dried flowers.

Recommend:
-bring your own embroidery scissors
-bring your own stitching stand, if you have one (though workshop can be done without)
