Join local artist, Lesley Block, for this inspiring late spring workshop at Country Cut Flowers.

You will create a beautiful painting on a 16"x20" canvas, using acrylics.

The paintings here are examples of the type of painting you'll create - it will vary according to the flowers in bloom at that time.

This workshop is open to all levels. All materials are included in the fee. It will be a fun and relaxing experience.

And when you're done you can cut a little posy of flowers!

Light and yummy refreshments will also be provided. Small class size. 

Lesley was born in South Africa, a country of passion and pain. Her love for colour came from the wonderful arts and crafts made by South Africans. Several of her collages depicting memories of South Africa were used to raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Grandmothers Campaign. Lesley is a member of the Richmond Hill Art Gallery, and has had were work shown there, as well as at the Square Gallery in Toronto and the McKay Gallery in Unionville.

Lesley's energy has recently been devoted to helping people with disabilities and mental health issues - helping them to be inspired by painting and creativity. For the last decade or so, she has run a group for Home on the Hill, working with people with severe mental illness and their caregivers.
